Wanderistan helps people discover events, places, city guides, and local travel information across supported countries and cities.
Wanderistan is our largest technical property: a multilingual travel and events platform covering cities, venues, attractions, and things to do across several countries.
It runs on a continuous data pipeline rather than hand-written pages. Event and venue data is ingested from multiple partner feeds, de-duplicated across sources, matched to the right city, enriched into readable editorial, and translated — then published under governance rules that decide what is worth a page and what is not. Recurring listings collapse into evergreen pages instead of spawning one URL per date.
The property is a working demonstration of the harder end of publishing at scale: sitemap and indexing strategy for a large URL set, crawl-budget and response-time management, structured data, and a country-launch playbook that has been run repeatedly.
